The Sosi Performance X-Pipe sounds great with most axle-back exhausts (or OEM exhaust), is guaranteed to not throw a CEL, and we're running a great promotion this month! Check my sig or PM with any questions.

I believe first year is just safety, that's why it's only $10. Every other year they plug in to read "readiness"

Just heard a story about a guy in Las Vegas,I think, but he has the Dinan catless and needed to do an emissions check (just moved there). Anyway, he called up an Aftermarket Autoparts company in town (I'll leave the name out unless you can infer from the capital letters there...........) and paid them $170 to pass him on inspection.

Most of the good X-Pipes give the same HP gains through the rpm range irrespective of the massive marketing hype of most companies.
Sometimes you get some dyno results of one X Pipe showing higher than another but from the massive amount of M3's we have done we have seen that the same X Pipe can give different results on different cars. That's not down to the X-Pipe but the ECU adaptations at the time of the upgrade. What people should be really concentrating on is the quality which is the single biggest variable. Akrapovic is by far the nicest constructed and uses incredibly good high flow CAT's. Supersprint also produce an X-Pipe which is probably the highest in terms of constructions and uses simply the best CAT's available. We have our own version which is made from surgical grade stainless and uses very high quality cats also. Ontop of the above mentioned there are other very good makes out there without the marketing hype (Dinan etc etc). There is alot of polished shiny stuff out there which quite frankly is made really shiny to hide the appauling welding quality. Much of the stuff on the market is made in China. We know this because the chinese companies email lots of companies with detailed images and suggestions as to who they make it for! CATLESS X-Pipes are a big problem for emissions purposes over the world but will give slightly more power depending on the design. Go for high quality properly constructed parts with high quality CAT's. The differences will be resonators, where the X is exactly located which will effect the noises levels. |

Here is mine with the Sosi X-pipe with Arqray axle back. 2ndary and resonator delete. Pretty much no drone with that combo. The sosi is a nice piece, and cheapest on the market at about $500.00.

Screw the emissions and stuff.
I am using IPE catback and I am curious about if I should go with IPE F1 x pipe or Challenge Race + ? Or just go ksG?
