2011 X5 Premium

Just pick up my 2011 X5 Premium yesterday and very impressed and happy. Must say that every little detail and finish is of the highest quality to me. After taking a short hiatus from BMW and having a Lexus there is no comparision. Bottom line the Lexus is a Toyota and the BMW is a BMW.

Now onto my thoughts on things.

1. Ride - Excellent nice tight and taunt ride and handling. Great in the twisties curves and great ina straight line.
2. Engine - Great performance the inline 6 with the new 8-speed automatic is a great combo with excellent acceleration and great cruising. Just have to watch as before you know it your doing 85-90
3. Navigation - BMW has done a great job with the navigation and the new iDrive is really quick and nice.
4. Premium Sound - Must have option and the sound quality is excellent. The upgraded speakers and also the added speakers and subs make this along with the DSP and Surround sound a must have. The satellite radio is great also.
5. Bluetooth - Excellent connection and the sound quality of the phone call is great. Nice to have a system again that can also seamlessly download a phonebook.
6. Comfort Access - Great option makes life easier especially with children when having to open the doors and rear tailgate.
7. Multi-Contour Seat - Another must have option. They fit you like a glove. Very comfortable and the longest trip has been 50 miles and you don't feel fatigued at all.
8. Paint - Went with Space Gray and the finsh is flawless and very brilliant!
9. Interior - Went with black with light popular great combo.

In a few weeks I will add to this brief write up with more details. I plan to take some pictures this weekend if the weather is nice and sunny and will post them
