Macht Schnell lug studs/nuts, not enough thread?
Had macht schnell lug studs put on my car, and to give some background my winter wheels are not the normal oem bmw 17's, my dealer sold me some other style that aren't staggered. But in any case this shouldn't matter i would think. The nuts were spun down to the end of their thread and the wheels were still a little loose. No way i was going to drive on them. Slapped some 3mm spacers and they fit fine, but i shouldn't HAVE to run spacers, right? I know the studs are for spacers, but they're also for ease of wheel swapping. I'd rather run my rear apex arc-8's without any spacers, but obviously it's more important to get it on right.

I am pretty sure they only make extended lugs. Not oem lug conversions. I may be wrong though.

FYI. I have Vorshag studs and lug nuts on my 2011 135i. I have mounted my winter wheels, OEM BMW 17" non staggered, and my original wheels, 18" staggered with the studs. No problems.
No spacers used. |

That is very strange... It may be a problem with the installation. I would contact Macht Schnell for some support.
