VO & Amber Corner Light

Does anyone in US choose VO just because it blends well with the amber corner lights?

I doubt it. Plus I thought those could be replaced.

Isn't it required by law?

Also wondering if anyone can render some AW & BSM photos with amber corners? All photos I found are European model shown.

I think it's required by law depending on which state you live in. I don't think it is necessary here in Colorado.

I wouldn't pick out a color solely on the color or lack thereof of side marker lights... There are always aftermarket goodies out there that can modify things like that if you dont like it's appearance....

While it was not a deciding factor, I can't say it wasn't in the top-15 pros for getting a VO car ;-o)

Short of replacing the headlights with the Euro ones, you can buy a set of non-amber stickers/snap-ons. I believe **********s sells the snap-ons.

I had a design shop fabricate a a few for me on my SGM 135i and I think it looks great, certainly better than keeping the stock ambers (I also replaced my amber corner bulb with the Phillips Chrome bulb, which still lights amber, but is otherwise chrome bulb so does not have the yolk look.)

Sure, here they are. I basically contacted the design shop that did a custom job on my friend's M6 (pictured). It ended up being expensive, as it was a one-off job for them, but had them print me a dozen, so have a few for sale for those interested. It beats anything in the aftermarket world IMO (the smoked sticker ones sold by **********s are $59, and I don't like the plastic snap-on version, it's tacky, and it was also expensive).

Thx. Here is a more recent pic with the powdercoated ///M 264 wheels I am currently running (just need black valve caps LOL). Blacked out emblems too, so chrome no more! Plan the same for the 1 ///M (black out side gills, exhaust tips, kidney grills, etc). Just don't think chrome belongs in a modern day car, but that's just me.
