PCD delivery

For those of you that have done PCD delivery, if you are farther than 1200 miles away from your dealer, say 2000mi can your warranty be voided for not doing the break in service right at 1200 miles?

And does PCD have an impact on price paid for the vehicle i.e. lower or higher?

Thanks

PCD delivery is free ( no effect on car cost) and includes the days experience, free meals, and a free overnight hotel stay on BMW.

The 1200 mile is due roughly at 1200 miles so you can go over. Just get it done when you get home.

also agree. the 1200 mile number is a recommended service time, if you do it when you get back you will be fine.

Why not just stop at a BMW dealer somewhere on the way home approx around 1200?

Does PCD have to be scheduled at the time of order if doing ED, or can it be scheduled say a couple of weeks before ED delivery?

it needs to be reflected on the purchase order(which needs to be completed no later than 30 days prior to ED pick up date, usually completed several weeks prior to deadline) We ask that it is specified relatively soon after order is placed.

Apparently there has been a situation where someone didn't bring in their M3 for the 1200mi service within a distance/time period deemed reasonable by BMW and the warranty for the car was voided. I would just do it somewhere on the way home.
