Update 2 - Track My 2011 1M Coupe

Wow, just logged onto the BMW Site to track my BMW and found it fully populated and in production. The only problem is, we ordered Harmon Kardon and it doesn't show up in the specs. I hope they don't forget this..

Just log onto the bmwusa site and register, then enter your production number and it will populate your MY BMW page on the left hand side with Track my BMW.

Hmm we also ordered BMW apps, but I don't remember there being a shadowline option. The only options that we didn't order from the dealer list was the Sirius Radio and Heated seats.

That is pretty awesome. I wouldn't worry about no H/K showing up on this screen. I've read where lots of people find the details on this to be inaccurate on occasion. As long as your CA put in the right order into the system, there's little chance it will be messed up.

Shadowline is standard, the pic is wrong.

Sirius and heated seats are the only two options I'm wavering on. Maybe those help resale several years down the road.. I dunno.

I suppose you're getting shadowline ?
I'm still in doubt. I noticed that almost all cars driving around in Europe have "shadow line" standard, and that the "chrome line" is something you only see on the more premium and/or expensive cars.

And for us (Belgians and BMW Belgium), shadow line is an option (extra $$), while chrome line is standard on the 1M.
But this is different in other countries. Maybe shadowline is standard in the US.

Please, choose Shadow Line!
The front and back windows are black surrounded anyway and it looks misplaced otherwise.

The kidneys with chrome are more a traditional thing, but I'll replace them anyways with black ones.

But be sure to choose Shadow Line!!

To date (March 3rd) my large size dealer in the tri-state area does not have any confirmed allocations yet. Is there anyone on the US east-coast that has had there order confirmed with VIN/production date?

Wow. I hope that there is more in the Premium Pkg than listed because according to the Standard Features, auto-dimming rearview mirror, auto-tilting passenger side mirror and Ambiance lighting are all standard. The iPod adapter and BMW Assist can be ordered as options, so the only thing unique to the Prem Pkg would be the seats.

My dealer is South Bay BMW near LA, we have the production number and the VIN and the car should be finishing production as I write this.

Will be here at the beginning of May.

Just talked to a friend at the dealer and she confirmed the car will stay at the VDC until the launch date on May 11

Be careful saying that. People around here don't want to believe it.

I don't want to believe it either, but this came from a friend who is an SA at another MINI dealer, with no interest in my deal but who is familiar with the 1M discussions

And it happened in 2008 with the 128 and 135, but everybody was convinced it was going to be different this time. My car is going to sit around for two months, just like yours.

Well considering the first cars are just coming off the production line this week, and figuring 6-8 weeks to get them to the West Coast VDC, that should put them there about the first week in May, so this time they won't have to sit around that long, maybe just a week or two.

Do AZ cars come to the West Coast VDC or are they trucked in from the East ?
