Stung by an Mcoupe...

Sorry guys, but being on the fence for a while (since last summer), I kept shopping around while I had my deposit for the 1M and found a 2007 Mcoupe just begging for me to come get it.$29k, 8Kmiles, and best of all MONACO BLUE (for all you guys that want a 1M in blue

). From what I have read, They only made 36 Monaco blue Mcoupes for the US so chances are I won't run into myself anytime soon. I'll tell you what though, if the 1M is even half as fun to drive as the Mcoupe, you guys will have a blast. I picked it up in Arizona and drove back to Florida this week and had the time of my life. What a hardcore vehicle! So from now on, I'll be on the Zpost. Have fun guys and enjoy your 1M's.....

You are one lucky dude.

PS--the "coupe" as we call it, is always the best stress reliever...my pops will go out and rev it to 8000 and it just makes the problems melt away...

Actually, I was wondering where you went. Thanks to you, I hooked up with David@EuroCars on the 1M. Great guy to deal with and just waiting on the ED details.

Yeah, everything happens for a reason. Unfortunately the IRS and the lack of a decent refund changed my plans for a $50k car in the near future so I had to call David and cancel. A day later, I look at my saved searches on Auto trader and see this practically new Mcoupe in Arizona for almost half the price of a 1M.
David is a great guy and next time I go "new" he will be the man I call.

Curious as to why your keeping your z4 when you've got the M.

I can say that I'm on David's list for an ED. He mentioned that there were a couple before me but for different months.

The Z4 is my wifes car and is off limits as far as a trade is concerned. she swears she will never sell it. It's an 03 with relatively low miles (40k), she bought it new, paid sticker (she was single), would not get back much as far as $$ selling it, so we're keeping it. Plus it's a fun car even with the 3.0. I've wanted an Mcoupe since the "clown shoe" era and for the price you can't beat it. I'm on my way to wisconsin for a little ice racing with my cuz so it will be a few days before I can post pics, but I promise the are coming..

Thanks for the good wishes and I promise I won't be a stranger. I really still want to see how much fun you guys are gonna have with the 1. It should be a blast with all that torque..

I'm on that list, too! I haven't decided about ED yet, but I think I am second on the list. This is my second time dealing with David and both have been great experiences.

Enjoy that M- I miss that engine every day!

I wish I got an M Coupe back in 08, but I needed those two back seats...damn.
