Carbon fiber hood review

Looking for feedback from people that have installed a CF hood. I dont want to paint it ,I'm looking at the NON oem style with (fake)vents in the same 1x1 weave as roof. Would like to hear from you guys on:
Clearcoat quality
Gaps, fit, finish
Quality
Price
Fitment of OEM hardware
If you recomend you hood or not
Thanks in advance for input

Mike,

Awesome looking hood, the VRS E9X M3 parts are made exclusively in 1x1 so that's what you have. Thanks for taking the time to post the review!

Challenge is looking adding a carbon hood to their product line, take a look in this thread: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=484990

At the moment, no company can match their fitment quality and attention to detail. Because of this - it's one of the few aesthetic products we offer.

Thread revival...wow, I have not seen this hood before. The lines are perfect, it stays within the bound of the stock shape, but a lot of nice details and opportunity to leave carbon exposed.
Anyone have more photos of this installed ?

I gotta chime into the thread revival too. Anyone with a carbon fiber hood experience any deforming issues after a while? Maybe in the sun/heat too long?

Looking to get a cf hood and trunk in the future and was wondering if this happens or if there's anything that can help prevent it.

I have had the Arkym Hood for nearly 3 years....it's been wrapped three times - fit is great!
