Considering BMW can't seem to decide how long or how many Coupe's they'll build I'd say the decision on the Cab. is a little ways off

If they decide to make a 1M Cab then I hope they extend production of the Coupe as well (And offer it through Military Sales)

I'd be so in for a 1M vert. But does a lightweight ragtop mean less insulation and less ability to withstand winter conditions? That would be a tough one for me.

I got the impression that juliansorl was asking for a different type of ragtop than the one currently equipped on the 1er convertibles. I'm curious what that would mean and how it would handle the cold,

Don't think it's gonna happen:
- the new model (F-model line) is coming too soon. - vert is not "pure" (added weight etc) and not fitting the marketing around the 1M Again, like the people who want DCT, or a moonroof, or 15 colors to choose from: if you need vert, go 135i or 335i. |

^some people like a fast vert. Deal with it and dont patronize the people that do.
that being said it more than likely wont happen with the E88. Almost defiantly with the F2X tho. |
