Did anyone receive the M-power.com gift?

Did anybody who has placed an order for the 1MSC receive a gift from m-power.com? I haven't heard anything about this since the promotion started on the m-power.com website.

That comment about ED and 1M owners invited to the ring...joke, speculation or rumor...or wishful thinking? Just trying to get an idea if there is any substance there.

I had read somewhere way back there was speculation that 1M ED customers were going to get some 'special treatment'. But, havent read anything about in a long while.

M-Power themselves told me last month that the offer would be carried over into January to allow UK buyers time to get an order as we couldn't get one until the new TAX year as VAT went up here.

I guess it would be soon?

Mind you, could this be an invitation for all 1M buyers to a special event?

The car just celebrated it's World Premiere @ Detroit and European Premiere @ Brussels. Of course not everyone can get there.

In Germany the car will shortly go on display within the BMW Welt and there should be a showcase event for customers in many parts of Europe including the UK. But I think this is more of a case when the orders are filled that they will announce something.
Of course the car will be present in Geneva this coming March.
US buyers will probably get to see the car @ the major US shows , possibly not the early regional shows.

And M enthusiasts in Asia are enjoying the car as it tours across the region gathering interest. It is currently in Singapore but it will visit South Korea , Japan and finally China.

However the press and media drives are fairly imminent, within the next month.

I feel like this is something you will get upon delivery. They asked for your dealership name and address, not your own.

Nope, although I only just received the brochure which I requested months before I signed up for the gift.

I hadnt told my dealer I had registered on m-power etc, and he turned around and said "bmw are aware of you have registered online", so its quite reassuring it isnt all for nothing!

I think it is far too early. I am expecting to receive a pen/model car or something with my car, or just after the first ones are rolled out.

Im guessing model car... they ask what color you ordered and someone hinted to a 1:43 scale model.

I dont think they care what color your 1m is if they are giving you a pen

If this gift is for peole that really end up buying the car, then I recon it will be released a lot later, once deliveries start. Any Tom Dick and Harry could have (and probably did) register for the free gift, but not everyone will actually buy one, so I guess BMW will distribute those to actual customers.
