Question BMW MAINTENANCE PROGRAM UPGRADE - Is it worth it based on my drivin needs?

Sorry if this is a repost, but I am kind of confused if I should get in one of these. Got a post card from dealer about extending my warranty 4years/50k which expires end of this month.

This is my first time owning a BMW vehicle. I've heard they are expensive to maintain, but will it be my money's worth ($2500 for z4m) for someone that just drives this car daily in the summer and occasionally in the winter if the roads are spotfree of salt, ice and snow. Avg ~6k a year. I bought it in June 2010 with 19k and its around 22k now.

Thanks for the responses.

Don't think it would be worth it for you. If you drove it more, I'd say yes.

BTW, cars are meant to be driven!

Thanks for the post. Thats what I am thinking as well.

I know I should drive it more, but something in me is just babying this one the first year . I plan on driving it alot more than last year, once we are done with all the snow, salt and ice on the roads.

I believe this topic has been covered already and should be easy to search for. Also, your title seemed to be a statement rather than a question.

I understand, and I've seen threads saying that the upgrade pays for itself. However, I wanted to get feedback based on my personal situation and driving, if pursuing the upgrade makes any financial sense.
