Angel Eyes Help:

So...I don't have my M3 yet but I wanna to get ahead of the game and order my Angel Eyes (they look amazing)... I need your help:
1) What's the best/most reliable brand?
2) What color do you suggest? I like the blue, but am I going to get pulled over all the time because of it?
3) If you happen to know... Average price?
4) To purchase.... Website recommendations?
5) Lastly, if you have any pics pls post them

Thanks!

Search around but there are several popular brands- LUX, WeissLicht and OSS depending on your budget and willingness to take apart the headlight.
2) What color do you suggest? I like the blue, but am I going to get pulled over all the time because of it?
I recommend Xenon white, I find the true blue or true red colors to be odd on a street car. They are better options for an all out show car that doesn't see much street use.
3) If you happen to know... Average price?
Ebay units start at $50, most are around $150-$200 for a quality set. Of course, you can go with more elaborate setups that require sending in the headlight to be modified.
4) To purchase.... Website recommendations?
Well being a sponsor, I am biased but we carry the WeissLicht brand. It's proven to be the easiest and most reliable LED upgrade for the factory headlights. Of course, make sure to look into the sponsor section for a complete list of offerings. I recommend purchasing from a trusted vendor to ensure you are supported.
5) Lastly, if you have any pics pls post them
Search around, there are plenty of threads.

Thanks!

My choice would be the AiB's easy....http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...oducts_id=2318

probably the only one out there with uniform light distribution between the inner and outer ring

Question:
I saw on the website that the E92 is only supported up to 2010, but would it still work for 2011?

That site may be referring to the non-M3 E92s. The M3s did not get the facelift so there is no change in angel eye design for 2011+ M3s vs. 2008-2010 M3s.

AiB definitely because of the ease of changing them yourself, the reasonable pricing on them, and the quality.

Even compared to OSS I still would prefer AiB.

Will I have a problem with warranty if I do the aib? I had umnitza on my e46 and when I serviced the car, they voided my electrical warranty pertaining to headlights.

My question is, will the dealer notice I had aib installed? Are they easy to take off before service appointment?

Id really like to upgrade to aib, but my dealer is anal about mods...

if you know your dealership is very anal about mods, just uninstall the AE's before taking your car in for service....

That's pretty expensive compared to others out there... I'm not on the budget, but are they really that worth it? Easy setup I suppose.

Very easy to install, 15-20 min top. I think that they look by far the best compared to all other brands. Most of the others are way to bright and have to much light on the inner ring compared to the outer one....I love OSS thoe but i think they are to pricey and def not easy to install

The AiB kits are very well designed and offer the best light output.

It's simply what should have come OEM from BMW.
