Light Smoked OEM Reflectors, how?
Does anyone have instructions on how to very lightly smoke my oem bumper reflectors? I searched the internet and there are a couple you-tube videos where folks are spray painting VHT nightshade on their taillights, but I'm just wondering if anyone here on the form has done it? The VHT night shade appears as if it darkens the lights alot, way more than I want and it looks sort of ghetto too. Just want to darken that orange reflector below a smidge. I purchased a spare set that will be here soon. I'm trying to avoid taking it to my local detailer and having him charge me $50 dollars for what I might be able to do with less than $10. Plus by me doing it, I can gauge how dark I want it.

i used a smoke coloured vinyl from ebay cost like $7 just remove the reflectors take them inside and heat the vinyl sheet with a haid dryer, makes more stretchy so easier to apply if it stinks, just peel it and you're only down $7 here is what mind looks like here is link for the vinyl http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Smoke...Q5fAccessories |
