Does anyone make a lip for the M-Sport?
I was just wondering because I have searched high and low and could not find a company besides iCarbon I believe that makes a front lip for our M-Sport front bumpers.
If you guys know others that make them please list them here. Thanks!

Actually the Hamann lip is not that pricey if you buy it in Germany. I only paid about 299 eur. for mine. I picked it up at their headquarters.

Its a shame that 1 series owners have to pay such a high price for these products, just because supply vs demand. I mean to an extent, its understandable, but closes to a $1k installed just for a lip, when others can get full body kits under $2k, is just rediculous. But anyways, like others have said: 3d design, Hamman, AC schnitzer, agency power, and maybe hartge? (check out vividracing.com to see them)

The high prices of mods probably turns people away from the 1-series, which defeats the point and just keeps the prices high.

its sad to hear this. im coming from and e90 355i and the options are endless for the 3 series. someone should take advantage of this situation and make a lot of money.
There is no way i would pay such insane prices for a lip that is prone to chips, scratches and cracks. there has to be a lip out there that is not CF and is cheaper.

The only thing the 1 series really has going for it is that coupe sports look which does attract quite a few people. However since the demand for the 1 series is low people jack the prices on cheap products...
If only quality 3rd party products existed at a DECENT price maybe then will people reconsider. Not saying that hardcore people won't spend the money, but the casual mod upgrader MOST LIKELY WILL NOT spend that extra 500$ premium! |
