Clutch Pedal throw Specs

For some reason it feels that my clutch is engaging too late/early between shifts. Anyone have a spec sheet on the clutch pedal throw and engagement point? For example, when fully depressed, the clutch pedal seems to begin to engage with only 1.5 to 2 inches of movement (seems too deep to me), leaving another 3 to 4 inches of travel to the final return stop. These are approximate but you get my drift. I don't know why I just started to notice this...especially in the holiday traffic and having to hold the clutch pedal all the way to the floor board.

As we all know, these are not the most smooth shifting beasts to begin with.

Thanks!

Tulsa has traffic?

Considered getting a clutch stop to reduce the travel length?
