M Sport Package: Chrome vs. Dark Chrome

Just learned something new after reviewing a brochure from England: The M Sport Package comes standard with the Dark Chrome (Black) inserts on the front and rear bumpers to compliment the Shadowline trim around the greenhouse, but one is able to deselect the Shadowline trim (overseas, at least), which would result in Chrome trim around the greenhouse and Chrome inserts on the front and rear bumpers, as per the M Sport Package the US had in 2010. Interesting.

Go through the German configurator for the 7 series and be amazed at how you can configure your ride... I SO WISH they would bring this level of configuration ability to this side of the pond!!!!

They also offer a few options you can't get in either the US or Canada...

DARK CHROME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! looks sooo much better then just chrome

Has anyone had luck ordering regular chrome (not dark chrome) on 2011+ M Sport Package vehicles? And, is it possible to have the rear diffuser painted the body color from the factory (again, on 2011+ M Sport Package vehicles), as on the 2010's?

Amen. They even have an option to add overhead outboard air conditioning controls (with separate rear trunk-mounted compressor) in the Li models overseas. We get butkus. The compressor lives in the area of the trunk normally reserved for the battery pack in the ActiveHybrid cars. It does reduce trunk capacity.
