Covered or non covered transport.

What is everyones opinion regarding covered or open transport when trucking your car across the country. Any experiances ? Is it worth the extra expense ?

I have experience shipping bikes and cars. I always get covered transportation, I know it will cost more, but will keep the car out of the elements.

Well I guess its settled then. I know I would kick myself for being cheap, if something happened or it was scratched or something like that.

Come on guy. Just drive it home. I did from another state and would drive it home from Maine or Florida. No big deal with work or schedule. This is a non-issue IMO.

True, as I hit submit I forgot about Winter. lol My apologies!

However you could have a crazy nice LONG drive down through Arizona. Really test the car out over 3500 miles.

Enclosed trailer is the way to go if weather or time is not allowing you the fly and drive program!
