Just got my customized plates for my new baby, and I'm a happy camper. "BMW 135i" wasn't available in VA, but this was. Let's see yours.

When I got my Lotus Elise in 2005, it was one of the first ones in the country. People kept asking "What is it?", so.....

Adam - your barcode is great! I can just see the cops developing a scanner to issue tickets on the fly! Ohh wait... the Krauts already have such a thing that reads the old fashioned number tags - over here. Only problem they don't think its constitutional yet. So they are only using it in some "test markets" for the Polizei! It just scans your tag to see IF your wanted for anything, then a real cop waits down the road. They are tsting it up North in Braunschweig (BS), near Wolfsburg.

I've heard that that same technology is used by some parking enforcement agencies here in the US. They drive down the street, scanning parked cars to look for outstanding tickets, so they can boot the scofflaws.

No custom plates yet, still waiting to get regular plates, but I've always wanted to get "E82 N54"... only those in the know would get it!
