FS: (2) New 255/35/19 & (1) slightly used 285/30/19 Michelin PS2

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Here is what I have:
(2) 255/35/19 Michelin PS2, they have under 20 miles on them, they are brand new. They are older production, though (one 08' one 07')

(1) 285/30/19 Michelin PS2, this one I purchased as a "takeoff", it has 8/32" tread (almost 100%). I rode on it for less than 20 miles, but it probably has more mileage than that on there. This one is an 08' production tire.

I am thinking about $950, as these tires go for like $1200+ for the set of three...

I also still have my 245/35/19 oem PS2s with full tread [UPDATE: SOLD]

Please pm if interested.

Thanks!

tires are officially for sale. They will be off the car on Tuesday. Because I have a bubble in one of the rears (that tire is going to be thrown away), I will not be driving the car until all four get replaced. The fronts are guaranteed to have under 20 miles at this point, and the rears under 1k, even though they show full tread life according to tirerack's specs...

hey, i'm in need of tires for my rear. stupid question here though, was the 285/30 for your stock 19? is there a reason you did a 30 sidewall and not a 35...again, noob question.

when you to a 285, you can't go with a 35 profile tire, it is too tall. The 285/30 is perfect... It is the stock size on the GTS

Garage List
Hmmm sounds familiar:

fyi, all the prices are listed here. Its $800 for the three tires (2 255s and 1 285). The one 255 on its own is $250 (new tire).

This isn't you is it? These havn't been available for around four months have they? Funny how the person above told me that 2/255s run 800 for a set:

I am kind of flexible on the price, but nothing like $500 for two tires (i have gotten a lot of offers at $500 + shipping for two tires for some reason). The set is almost $800 new and these tires are as close to new as you can get.

I would say that 500 for the two 255's should be starting to become more attractive now. How old are these tires? Do tires harden over time (especially PS2s)? How long does it usually take for soft/sport tire to harden past the point of paying the extra for a sport tire?

Good luck I ended up getting my new tires locally for 400 about 3 3/4 months ago. I am hoping you come down to 300 by about the same time I need my next set. As long as these tires aren't from 07' let me know if they do.

If you are not pimpin04 sorry for the confussion. There are probably alot of people selling 2/255 and 1/285 Michelelin PS2s in a package deal out there but this pimpin04 guy made me a little upset by inflating his figures to 800 if they are available for 250 a piece as later stated by him.
