those with comfort access Did you know

Did you know that if your windows are down when you get out and touch the handle to lock your car, if you just keep your hand there it will roll the windows all up. I didnt find this out till today

Cool. Will it also close roof? Becasue I do it using FOB, but just holding handle would be better.

Mine certainly won't close with the fob. The door handle works, though.

Yeah, my SA taught me this I think but I forgot it. Didn't figure it out again until recently when I leaned back against the door handle while talking to someone and my windows started to roll up

I like it for the sunroof because sometimes I forget its open and don't realize it until I'm out of the car and closing the door. Saves you from having to go back inside, turning the car on and closing the sunroof which is cool in my books.

Added in 2010. Previously you had to use the metal key in the door to close the convertible roof from outside.

Keep in mind CA behaves differently with the coupes and 'verts. You can't roll up the windows on the 'vert from the door. There's a thread floating around that talks about the differences in behavior.

Believe its a safety feature. Dont want to close the windows on a kid or doggies head via remote control.

i too find it anoying that you can only close by holding your finger against the handle, i'd like to be able to walk away and have it closing.

and i'd also like to be able to hold the handle to open all the windows, that way i don't wear out the battery in my fob...

the best option would be control from all 3, the fob, the handle, and the key. I like choice.

well, the thing is... my other cars have the close via remote option (notably MB) But still, I wouldn't buy an MB just for that convenience...

You know what's really annoying? Without CA, you have to take out the metal key, and stick it into the keyhole and turn it to lock position, hold it there to get the windows up.

at least you can do that with German cars, most other companies, anything where you can fiddle with the windows from outside the car is just not going to happen.

My CA has problem, or the feature available for post 08 models. I can only lock car from door handle. The rest is controllable from FOB only. So you are lucky.
