Holster for 135

anyone else carry daily? I need a holster for my car, I'm tired of my kimber ultra crimson carry II digging into my side, the sports seats are a tight fit even without my 1911 on my hip

suggestions ? with my smaller pocket carry, the holster fits perfect in the cup holder, but with the 1911 it's a little too big for that I think

Which license do you have? Conceal/carry or just carry. Since I just got my car, I haven't noticed if the is a net behind the seats or not. Could you put it behind the passenger seat in the net (if there is one). Still accessable.

Haha. Here in Maryland, that 45 has to be unloaded and locked in a secure case, and you must be ready to prove that you're on your way to or from a practice range.

Interesting. Here in Texas, I think you can be arrested for not carrying a gun!

I live in georgia, your car is an extension of your home, you do not need any license to protect yourself in your home or your car

I think there's still a law on the books in Forsyth County that requires you to own a gun if you are a propery owner.

This is how I currently carry in the car

I found this, not sure I want to sit on a strap

and this one

My coworker is ordering this to try with his wilson, it's a cross draw designed to wear while sitting

Hmmm...maybe it's time for BMW to make holsters for each series? Got my CHL but rarely carry my Sig unless I'm on a motorcycle trip.

Those are cool holsters. I keep a Walther PK380 in a soft holster in my car... not going to say where for safety reasons.

In MD, you might get arrested if you shoot a criminal. Criminals have more rights than honest folk in my state. In NY, you can shoot someone dead robing your garage and not see a day in court.

Hopefully the case in DC will spread like a Cali wild fire. For now a Benchmade in the right place is the only choice.

practice range from your home. If you are coming from work, you've got more explaining to do. Going hunting is a fuzzy grey area as well.

so weird..... not too many people carrying fire arms around here in Canada :P

however, those holsters are really cool, but i think that one that clips on over the seat bottom needs a serious redesign so you don't have the clip right under your leg.

Not questioning your choice.. but why carry I fullsize? Assuming you've got a CFL why not carry a smaller gun you can have on you at all times?

Maybe you could find something like my friend's dad has in his Frontier? I can't really explain it, but next time I see the car I'll get a picture for ya. I don't know how it'd work in the 1er tho.

The best carry method while driving is a cross draw that allows quick access while seated and safety belted in.

It is not the best while outside of the car though.

I carry fullsize daily if possible, otherwise I have a pocket pistol, seecamp .32

I found a new way that's workign for me, a 9 $ cheap holster but I set it in a cross draw position, I wear it and my Don Hume all day, and just swap which one I use when I get into my car. It's cheap and it's so light I do not even notice it being on when I'm not using it to hold the kimber

this is the way I'm carrying now
