Extra "Welcome Kit"

After complaining to BMW NA that I never received my "Welcome Kit" I have now received TWO. Anyone interested in "buying" one for postage ?

Every time you post a reply to one of my threads it's negative or sarcastic.

I actually think it's pretty cool... and as a Filmmaker, The DVD is Very well produced.

I never got an anything kit. I was told I have to wait until I take the car to the States. But how would they know I did that?

Settle down.

First of all, this is not the proper section for posting an item for sale. Second, I found it to be nothing more than fluff to make us feel good about spending as much as we did. When I bought my GTI I got a little "fast" creature in the mail and found that to be a neat gimmicky keepsake but I didn't find the DVD or other literature very interesting. If your opinion differs then good for you. The world is made interesting by those with opposing views.

For everyone's sanity, I would suggest taking these things a little less seriously. I recall the previous thread you started was about a CR article where they gave it a 97/100 which almost every person who replied found to be quite strange given the highly public and very widespread mechanical failures. My views were no different than theirs yet you threw a temper tantrum in that thread as well. This has everything to do with the car and BMW and zero to do with you on any level.

OP was kidding giving us a clue how to get it for free. Just call BMW USA and ask. I received many packages from BMW most useless. I do not know if there was welcome kit or not, mostly some books, media and so on. However one had design sketch of 1. I already had had received with Z4, so now I have a nice pair. So if you are lacking in house decoration, then it is a good source of pictures, just go in Michaels and buy a frame.

I was with you every word until the last sentence.

If it were ALL about the car we could just be happy with the BMWNA Website 1 Series Section.

But it is not just about the car. It iS about the people - the 'ADDICTS'. With their flaws, opinions, passions and experiences. So while we all ought to strive to keep it between the lines - we should also factor in the personalities and never dismiss anyone as insignificant - unless they are...

I'm referring to my replies to his threads in the past. I have never personally attacked this guy or even said a bad word about him yet he loses his shit every time I, or anyone else, post something that doesn't completely agree with his opinion. It's pretty odd since he wasn't even on my radar as a poster until he basically called me out in this thread.

See here (post 28) or here (post 17).

Don't you have to get state side tags and then take it to a dealer to get it in the system so your warranty/roadside/service stuff all get documented and take affect?

"Temper Tantrum ?" funny how the tide completely turned to those who defended their 1 after that "Tantrum"
You are simply annoying, judgmental and arrogant and I would prefer to have "zero to do with YOU". Have a good life and please "stay off" my threads.

Seriously dude, you need to relax. You're overreacting once again. I never said a single bad thing about you until you called me out because my posts aren't to your liking. That seems a strange behavior for someone participating in a public forum. As far as I know, everyone is welcome to their opinion.

I hope you come to a local meet so I can introduce myself in person. I think you'll be shocked at how off-base your opinion of me actually is.

Again, please stop taking things on the internet so seriously. We're all here for the same reason... our passion for our cars. Let's get back to that.

I love how most of this thread is made up of a lil tiff between the OP and the black n white horsey, and a few people who're like "wtf is this shit??"

Neat looking tri-fold pack kinda thing with cool pictures, info bout the car, a dvd with some expensive music and reviews n shit yada yada. Basically the big "brochure"ish type thing your dealer gave you before you really made the decision to buy...x50
