Black Kidneys?
I just installed a matte black kidney grills on my AW135. I was thinking of painting the surrounds gloss black to match the shadowline trim and leave the slats flat to match the flat grills under the bumper. What do you guys think? Has anyone done this? Any pix would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Our lower grill creates matching problems to me. I ordered my aftermarket FMIC anodized black to help with this problem. I definitely think your idea of gloss over matte will be the best match for your car. I have matte slats from by CF kidneys that I'll sell cheap someone wants them so they can go this way also.
