Anyone interested in trading clean low mileage E46 plus cash for lesser yet nice car?
*Update, looking at all 2005+ M3s including E92s. Thanks.* Guys I have a 2008 Saturn Astra XR3 that I purchased new in July 2008. Loaded w/ every option but has a 5 speed manual. Cost about $22K new. Real rich Black leather w/ very sporty seats. Car has 31K miles. Has bumper to bumper warranty until 36K/ 3yr and powertrain until 100K/5yr that is honored by any GM dealership. Garage kept. Synthetic since 2nd oil change. no smoking, no pets, garage kept, no accidents or even dings, rubber mats, bluetooth enabled, hard wired for radar detector, tint, and aftermarket matching armrest. 18" Oz Ultraleggera wheels, slightly curbed (I touched them up w/ some black paint). Car has auto wipers, heated seats, auto headlights, side curtain airbags, info computer. Only mod is a derestricted airbox which actually made a tremendous difference. Really a nice commuter car, work car, or kid's car. I have title in hand as I paid cash for the vehicle when new. This is a fantastic car. It's not fast (138 hp) but it is on absolute rails. I drove a nice '09 330 last week and my car felt much more solid and refined in many ways and the Astra out handled that particular 3 series w/ ease. My Astra was quieter inside as well. I also have 4 slightly used tires of the correct size to go w/ it so you'll have your next round of tires covered. But alas I have to have an M3! I'm looking to upgrade to a 2006-2007ish M3. Must be low mileage. Must have a manual transmission and black leather interior. I would say 36K miles would be the max I could take. Prefer no black Beemers. It's just too hot in TX. I love smartly done mods and blacked out cars. Grey, white, or blue would be my preferred colors. My Astra seems to have a value of approximately $12-13.5K. I have somewhere between 15-30KK to add into the deal. I could spend less, could maybe spend more for the right car. I am located in Central TX but would be willing to travel a bit. sunspsd@gmail.com Thanks for looking. Last edited by Suns_PSD; 08-20-2010 at 06:44 PM.. |

infantry, I'd be driving to SoCal right now if your car was a 6speed manual. Seriously. I lived in Socal up until 6 years ago so I would just have one of my mechanic friends go and take a look at it and it would be done.
I just don't think I could ever be happy driving an auto-manual or whatever that is. I guess there is no reasonable way to convert it? Anyone trade those things out? Could you please explain to me how that tranny works? Do you have title in hand? To light: Honestly Beemers are pretty new to me. It was an '09 3 series w/ lots of options and a 6 speed manual. Wasn't terribly fast so it couldn't have been turbocharged. I thought it said 330 on the back but I could certainly be wrong. |
