I have М3 Е92 on DCT, recently has appeared what that a jingling sound from the motor (not loud) begins only in movement with 4500 turns and comes to an end in 5500 sometimes in 6000! What it?????

Maybe it of what the exhaust blows on a joint???? By hand it is felt that air goes from there!!!

Was on diagnostics at dealer!!!! Have told that with the motor all ок, this sound from a resonance of full exhaust Hamann!!!! Mistakes in the motor are not present!!!!!
The truth that an exhaust can resonance and publish a sound on 4500 turns???

I think I know what sound you are talking about. It almost sounds like there's a loose connection where the exhaust and headers meet. I hear it from about 3K - 4K but I need to be at WOT to duplicate the sound. Bummer, I know. Anyone else hear this shuddering???

Is it this sound you're hearing? Listen when this guy revs his car, you can tell a slight ringing sound just before he let go of gaspedal,
