Headlight washer cover gone! :(

Has anyone ever heard of the headlight washer cover flying off during driving (highway speed)? I used my washer when driving on the interstate and saw something flew, didn't think much of it and didn't check it right after. And now I am misisng the driver's side cover. Is this a warranty item/issue or that's out of my own pocket to fix? I called BMWNA and they don't know, but did say that chances are it is not covered because it usually requires a lot of force to have it come off. If it is workmanship related, then they will cover it. How can they tell if it is workmanship? Any insights would be great! Thanks.

Just bring it to the dealer and explain it to them,

This just happened to me over the weekend. Though it happened on the passenger side.

SA says that warranty won't cover the washer part.

Mate that is unacceptable. I would be pushing for a warranty job. We should not be having to worry about headlight washers flying off on new cars like this. Just be persistent.
