New Product Release: TE37 Super Lap for E9X M3
I have not had the chance to update you all much about some of the new Wheel offerings for the E9x M3. I know... Slacking~~~ Especially when there are quite a lot of developments right now, especially when it comes to wheels.
Many of you may already be aware of the TE37 Super Lap for the E9X M3. Rays Engineering had discontinued the original TE37 for the BMW bolt pattern, and we really thought that was the end of the TE37. Well, not quite yet... The TE37 is back as the all new TE37 Super Lap. This is the leaner, meaner TE37. Forged by Rays Engineering (the guys that build the ALMS GT2 M3 wheels), it is offered in 18" with widths that will allow you to run some pretty nice widths as well as R compound tires for those who track. For those of you that have been waiting for that perfect 18" set up for street and the occasional track, this could be "The Wheel". Specification: Front: 18 - 9.5 et15 Front/Rear: 18 - 9.5 et22 Rear: 18 - 10.5 et20 19" sizing to be relased in the future (TBD) Color: Pressed Graphite Pressed Graphite is a little too simple of a name to describe this color. It is a multi step process. The wheel is finished in an graphite color. Then the center and the rim flange is diamond cut to expose raw machined metal. This machined portin and the remainder of the wheel is clear coated in black to give that translucent liquid smoke finish. Features: The major feature on this wheel is the fact that they reduced weight while maintaining strength by using the latest mold form forging technology. The cross section of the TE37 super lap is slightly different from the traditional TE37. Rays Engineering managed to reduced 400g (0.88lbs) of weight for the TE37SL compared to the regular TE37(which is already pretty light). I truly believe that this could be the ultimate track wheel that we all have been searching for. Some set up options for E9X M3. Set up #1 front: 18 - 9.5 et22 rear: 18 - 9.5 et22 Set up #2 front: 18 - 9.5 et22 rear: 18 - 9.5 et15 Set up #3 front: 18 - 9.5 et15 rear: 18 - 9.5 et15 Set up #4 front: 18 - 9.5 et22 rear: 18 - 10.5 et20 Set up #5 front: 18 - 9.5 et15 rear: 18 - 10.5 et20 This picture really shows the true shade of the spectacular "Pressed Graphite" Here are some pictures of the wheels on a couple on the E92 M3 and the E46 M3. Julius, you forgot to mentiont that they priced the wheel very nicely too.
Can you go over the pros/cons of each combo above? I think you can run much wider rubber with the et22 wheel up front? Any idea what fromt lip is on the first pic? It looks like it would generate some good downforce.

Thanks for the support! We ahve a sales thread on the sales section. Let's keep this discussion to how much we love this set up or otherwise
http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=376105 Quote:
the pros and cons.... hmmmm. set up #1 - you can probly run 265/35-18 and 275/35-18 front to rear and have a very neutral set up set up #2 - same as set up #1 but with a more aggressive rear (ideal for looks) <-- like the wider trak on the back Set up #3 - definitely a nice roatable set up but you will need some custom alignment set up with a nice drop to pull this off, especially in the front. Nothing major but if you want to run something wide like 265, you will need a nice drop and camber in the front. Set up #4 - Great for everyday set up. you can run 265/35-18 and 295/35-18 and should handle pretty nice Set up #5 - again... this is a little more aggressive in the front and some work may be needed but nevertheless, should look real good. As for the lip, here is a picture of the front and underside.

you guys should make it so that some of your products can rotate like those rims. If i'm going to spend $$ I should be able to see and know exactly what i'm getting.

I am guessing that the widest would be 265/35-18 and 295/35-18. But, you will need some alignment adjustment to fit them in there. Also, no one has tried this and we didn't get confirmation on the fitment from Japan.
