Idle actuator
Driving as usual last week, when in traffic, the engine stalled, impossible I thought being a DCT!
 had the engine management come on and limped the car to my local dealers. They plugged the ECU or whatever into their computer and it told them that sometimes this happens and generates a fault code, which they cleared. Drove the car off the forecourt and a mile down the road the same thing, only this time had an engine logo appear with a line through it! Took it straight back and was told that the idle actuator needed replacing, which they did all under warranty. Asked for an invoice for my records, which appeared a few days ago.....£509.10!!!!!!........... Happy now  Flapps
