Rolling your fender?
Hey guys whats up. I need to get my rear fenders rolled for my new tires and rims, but I cant find anyplace to get it done, I live in north Jersey, 10 minutes from NYC, can anybody help me?
Also, Ive been to 3 shops and no shop can mount my tires because supposidly they're too low profile? does that make any sense? |

You'll be rubbing, even with an agressive roll and cutting.
Any decent tire shop should be able to mount those tire sizes tho. |

you will need to cut or shave the fenders, there's no other way. I have et 45 all around and I had to roll all 4. get them cut or negative camber to be safe. either way you need to do some fender work.... et33 is way too aggressive.. .

Yeah they are super agressive for this car. Sub et 45 really doesn't fit all that well

OP- try 215 and 245 tires then do a roll or cut. see how that fits. also depends on your drop too.

dont be afraid of fender rolling guys! if you get someone who knows what he or she is doing then you will be 100% fine.
anyway i have 235 up front so that might be the problem why im still rubbing a little. i might switch to 225 next time.... i'm fine with my setup now.

I had my fenders just slightly rolled to fit a 17x8.5 et 44. I has them done at Camber-toe by Matt. He did a great job and I would recommend talking with him. The shop is just a little ways outside NYC in long island.

what does et 45 stand for? sorry im not great with tires and rims. This is all i know:
My stock configuration was: 245/35/18x8.5 rear 215/40/18x7.5 front My new configuration is: 255/35/18x9.5 rear 225/40/18x8.5 front whats the difference? and how do you know if it will rub bcuz there's mad space between my tires, and i was told the tires would stretch more in that setting so they would run more low profile. Can anyone explain? |

On the stock wheels there is a lot of extra space to deal with and you won't have any issues with those size tires. I run a 225/40 front and a 255/35 rear on my stockers.
But on the aftermarket wheel that you're talking about those sizes will create issues |
