New Owner Here. 2011 Coupe ZCP (Jet black / fox red)

Fellas,

Well I think it's time to make it official. I've been a lurker on this board since September. As of late I've been more active with posts, but I think all the info I have received from these boards swayed me away form ordering a 335i (I owned an 07 for a year) in December and ordered a 2011 M3 in March.

I did Euro delivery on May 11, and had it shipped directly to the port from the Welt. I know I know. It was a short trip, and I should have planned my delivery in the beginning of the trip. All I can say is it was the first time but DEFINITELY not the last.

The lease is up on my Z4 tomorrow, and I'll be without a car for who knows how long. Although I heard on the automated message that it was in transit!

I am in love with this car. And it's a great feeling knowing that I built it with the options I wanted. I'll admit. I thought some of you guys were a little nuts with tracking a boat to see where your car was on the ocean. That was until I started checking myself.

Congrats man, the car looks amazing! I used this forum as well for awhile when shopping the 335i vs. the M3...then I test drove the two lol

. The ZCP wheels look sick on black too. Black and red is a fierce combo.

I know. My only regret of the trip. Between work, lease end and stretching the time of delivery in anticipation for better rates for May (It worked out), this was the only way I could do it. I left the next morning.

I originally was going to say screw ED, but my girl was driving me nuts with this castle she had to see. Starts with N and ends in stein. Plus my friend and wife had a rental to show us Munich. Beautiful scenery, great people and an awesome time.

The Welt experience was amazing. Me and my guests were treated like royalty. Enjoyed the factory tour as well. If you're on the fence about Euro delivery, DO IT!

nothing like pristine black car. Love combo with Fox Red. I took delivery of IB M3 with ZCP in Munich 4/15. Awaiting final delivery--boat arrived in NYC 5 days ago. The wait is painful to say the least. At last minute I almost switched to Black/Fox Red. I really like the combo. And the black really sets off the ZCP wheels.

Nice car and the color combo is awesome, mine's the same! I didn't go with the double-hump dash, but the black does set off the ZCP wheels.
