tpms question

I got some new stems for some beru tpms that I have. They have these long skinny rods in the packages. Anybody know what these are for?

look at the bottom of the valve steam ( not the sensor) and you will see a small hole in the side. That is where the long skinny rod goes. You use it when you tighten the sensor to the valve steam. Remove the rod when tight.

you don't "have" to use it, it keeps the valve stem in place as others have already pointed out.
