It really depends on the installer. I've had mine (AW) for almost 1 year and it still looks new and invisible. Regular sealants (jetseal in my case) and carnauba wax also help prevent yellowing.

If you can do the clear bra. I had a regular bra on my vette. It was a pain to take off and put back on to clean the car. I spent the money for a clear bra and no one could tell it was even on. I purchased my M3 used and the previous owner had one installed already. It's worth the money and you don't know its there and it also preserves the appearance of the car.

A actual physical bra would look silly on the M, just my opinion. Go with clear bra, or go without.......Physical Bra only, and I mean only if going on a long trip, and you will be behind big trucks, then remove it right away, cause it will look weird. My .02

I would agree with the consensus so far - it's fine if you're just using it for a long trip, but it generally looks horrible, especially on a white car. Personally, I would suggest getting clear bra, and before a long trip, make sure your car is waxed, so that the bug splats will come off a bit easier. |
