Review of D1swoop's Matte Black Luma Lip
I purchased the lip from Don in person a couple of weeks ago.
I tried to install it myself, but I needed a second set of hands. Don and Harry at HD Auto Salon were kind enough to install it for me free of charge. Kudos to their customer service and craftsmanship. They do some amazing work at their shop. I plan to go back for cosmetic mods. Strengths: -Very sturdy and light CF construction -Uniform and excellent matte black finish -Predrilled holes -Great fitment -Competitive price (trust me, I received quite a few quotes before I settled with the Luma lip.) Drawbacks -No installation hardware included. But it was not a big deal as I picked up everything I needed from a local hardware store for $10 (double sided tape, washers, and bolts). I can't complain cuz Don did install it for me. -It really takes a second set of hand to get it flush and aligned. But I hear that's common for most lips anyway. Overall, I am very happy with the lip and really pleased with Don's service and postsale support. Disclaimers: I am not associated with HD Auto Salon or D1swoop. There were no monetary incentives for this review. Don was such a pleasure to deal with, I volunteered to post a couple of pics upon installation. Sorry for the crappy pics. That's a toughie between CF diffuser and matte grills. I personally think matter black looks better in the long run. Unlike rear diffusers, front lips do get beat up a little more. Now, just imagine that with clearcoated CF....

Nice lip. Fittment looks a bit off in the first pic on the passenger side.

Sharp observation. It looks just a little off from that particular angle because it was installed on top of a clear bra. The fit is actually quite good. If I were to do it again, I would actually remove all film from the contact areas.
