BMW Performance Exhaust Installed
Absolutely love the sound, the best way to describe it is eloquently aggressive. Thanks to Untouchable and the folks at Bimmersport! Merry Christmas to me!

I am going to try and get a clip together. I think I am going to try and mount a camera on the bumper for a run and see if I can pull off a moving sound clip. Stay tuned.

Untouchable, you were right bro, the dudes at Bimmersport are just incredible. I got into a long discussion with John about modifications and he gave me some pretty good insight into BMW dealerships and warranties. They also showed me their 1er project car, simply awesome. I have a sneaking suspicion that I will be going to Bimmersport for some more work when spring hits.

Ya, the vert thing threw me a bit but what a nice job they have done. They are running the AA Processor 2 for their tune over the JB3, what are you thoughts on this? They are also packaging the AA turbo kits (intercooler, processor and BOV) which very much intrigues me as it seems good value for some really nice performance returns. Although I am not that interested in the BOV (hate that bloody woosh sound), I would be able to swap it out for the AFE intake.

i have the AA processor as well. plus there intercooler and bov. it all depends how fast you want to go. the only reason we have the aa processor is because AA parts are more compatible with there own tune. plus im running AA meth. if you dont like BOV i suggest you get FORGE diverter valves.

Ya I know BOV has nothing to do with intake but I would prefer to get an intake instead of a BOV in the package deal they are offering. So you dropped the JB3 in favor of the AA processor? I always thought you ran a JB3.
I dont need to the fastest ride but I do like the idea of compatability between the parts and want some pretty decent performance returns without compromising the integrity of the engine. It makes much more sense to me as I would categorize myself as a medium risk medium reward type of modder. If the AA package gets me there then I am more in favour of it. |
