steering wheel

Hey, great looking wheel. I had a 2007 Gti and loved the flat bottomed steering wheel on it; best ever. Can't really afford a wheel right now, but wanted to know if the aluminum pedals are standard or were a kit you installed. Black pedals are so boring. (would 1 series and 3 series aluminum aftermarket kits work on either car?)

alum pedals are OEM from bmw... they arent standard. but its an OEM accessory you can buy from the dealer. i had it installed by the dealership before i took delivery of the car.

those pedals fit both 1 series and 3 series cars. i am not sure of the part numbers now but there are two different kinds of alum pedals u can get. ask the dealer for more info.

sweet looking wheel, too bad the red doesn't go with anything in my car. i'll take everything AROUND the wheel for $425 though, you probably won't need the M3 much this winter anyway...

ahah yea. i figured someone with coral red (or a red 1er) would match this steering wheel very well.

as for winter, i use my car year round... its actually quite fun in winter (despite getting stuck a couple of times)... frequent the local walmart parking lot in the middle of the night sometimes for some tail out action.

Your on Sottozeros right? Good good tire and its way fun to go tail out in the snow. Too bad I dont have coral seats, I would jump on this wheel as mine is peeling...again

Haha, same here . Whereabouts are you in Montreal, I've only seen a couple of M3's and neither were red. Would be cool to see one of those wheels in person and feel it for myself, maybe I'll order one next summer

Tell me about it, it's been -21 degrees in Toronto for the past couple of days. Those warm hands help out a lot LOL!
