JB+ and N54 Tuning

Big shout to Mike @ N54 tuning for performing the install. He was extremely effiecient and very reliable. He definitely delivered a great customer experience.

I am not sure how long it takes for the car to adapt to the tune but I have have been driving all day and damn I am feeling a very noticeable performance difference. The car just feels like it pulls more in every gear.

Loving it! Thanks Mike!

Irishace.. nice and I dealt with Mike before and he's great but I personally think you should either have installed the JB+ yourself or had him direct you through the install.. why you might ask because when you go in for services this allows you to remove it yourself.. and based on my experience of installing and removing the JB3 I got alot faster and familiar with it... just my 2 cents.. unless you live or work close to Mike and can get him to do it everytime.

Lazy, I agree, he in fact walked me through it step by step. It took about 10 mins. I think I may be able to pull it off on my own now. Thanks again Mike.

I went with JB+ because I want less chance of throwing codes and it gives me another upgrade option for more power later when I want to move to the JB3.

Hey irishace, how much hp gain do you get with this mod? I guess you elected to go with this rather than the dinan. It makes sense because its cheaper. But what about your warranty, is there a chance they'll find out even if you take out the module?

Well, I have not dyno'd the car so there is no way of telling but Burger suggests that its about a 40hp gain on the default setting. My butt dyno tells me that the car is noticabley quikcker in all gears. I love it.

There is no guarentees on warranty but i will be removing the device and BT scanning before going into the stealership. I went with JB because of $/HP. Its a no brainer.
