Noob question: does everyone's red clown nose blink?
I have a 135i and have the famous red clown nose under the rearview mirror. It obviously changes the mirror for night driving, but is it supposed to blink when the car is locked, or only if you have the BMW optional alarm system? I can't find the answer anywhere seemingly.

thanks. Too bad it still has the big red nose, if it doesn't blink.... I sometimes shake my head on some of the engineering decisions made on cars... (another one is not having a mute button on the steering wheel for sound system; every car I've owned with steering wheel buttons has a mute on it; great for drive-thrus, etc.)(oh, and the infamouse, raise your seat BMW "hop" to get your weight off the seat) I rest my case!
