Trying to find steel rims
Hey everyone!
Been lurking for a few months since I received my 128i w/Sport Package (crimson red) back in May, but finally decided to post. Purchased some Blizzak WS-60's from 1010tires which are coming in next week but I seem to be having a lot of difficulty finding some generic steel rims that will fit this car (17's). I'm not looking for anything fancy, nor am I looking to spend the money on alloys. I don't really care if the look isn't there - it's the winter! I had a Mazda3 prior to this and I picked up some cheapo rims at walmart for 45$ a rim. I understand these might be a bit more, but 150$ or so per rim seems a bit like overkill (for me anyway) Anyone have any places online or any other dealers that would sell some cheapo steel rims? I've used steel for the past 10 years and never had any problems with them, so I figured I'd continue with the beemer. Thanks for the help! |

Most tire shops should have them...keep in mind for some reason they charge you $200 per rim. Dealer likely could get you the best deal. They gave me an amazing deal. I'm running 16 inch steelies.

Did you try Costco or Canadian Tire?
I know the Active Green and Ross near me had some and they price was okay but I was able to shop around and get alloys for only a little more and it was worth it for me. |
