Thumbs up Newest Pre-LCI LED angel eye announcement - MTEC v2

Update:

We were able to be the first in the US to prototype and receive the latest LED angel eye upgrade from MTEC. These MTEC Version 2.0 units now features a TRUE 3W ultra high-performance CREE led chip with a full-bodied aluminum heat sink. I've tested them last week against the older units and the output is 3x greater than before and still retains it's full brightness after prolonged use when compared to other angel eye brands that uses an overdriven LED which leads to pre-mature failure. The color is even whiter as well (6500-7000k). Pictures will be posted up once we're done with a full photo shoot

They will be whiter during the day. At night time, they'll be noticeably brighter

It won't work. The 2010 E60 LCI models uses an H8 halogen bulb to power the halos, different setup.

You can go with some H8 hyperwhite bulbs. MTEC Cosmos Blue should be good enough

The E70 X5 uses an H8 halogen bulb setup. You can go with some Hyperwhite bulbs to change it's color. The MTEC Cosmos Blue should be fine

And the BMW X5?

This is all nice and sweet, but what about the 2009 BMW X5?

I'm actively looking for:

1) white (bright like the MTEC v2) angel eyes that will NOT cause any errors

2) white bright indicator lights (front)

3) bright reverse lights (I can't see a darn thing when I reverse in the dark with the BMW stock lights)

Can anyone help?

1) Your X5 uses an H8 bulb to illuminated the angels. I would recommend the Lux H8

2) The X5 uses a PSY24W bulb just like the E92 coupes:

3) The stock X5 halogen reverse lights don't do much but here's a picture installed with error free LEDs:

They will fit just fine on your 06 M5 as long as you have OEM projectors with stock angels.

They will work fine as long as you have stock xenon headlamps with the halos

2007 BMW 530i newbie. My first car in 15 years as I'm a former 4x4 guy. Will these lights work for me? Been reading about some flicker issues. Will these flicker upon start up?
