AMS FMIC intercooler sale

I have released this on the E90 boards but I thought I should do so here as well.

This is in our opinion the nicest FMIC available for the 335/135 market. Industry first 3" endtanks, a core construction we have used for years on all of our platforms, requires basic trimming...and makes POWER! over 10whp just form bolting it on a stock car!

We will have more hard data for you soon, but I know our IC's work and when put up against other companies in the many cars we work on the always come out on top.

With that in mind we will be offering a introductory special at $799.95. Retail is going to be $899.95

The core requires very little trimming, less than even a helix. has a massive 3" inlet and outlet pipe. Incredibly well designed thin wall cast aluminum end tanks. weighs in MUCH lighter than a helix core. Comes complete with special couplers to bolt to the factory piping. Is 100% reversible. And uses the same top quality cores we have fitted on cars making well over 1000 whp. We even incorporate Tabs to keep the fan shroud snug to the intercooler core

Specifications:

Weigth: 17.6 lbs
Dimensions: 20 x 6 x 6
IAT and backpressure testing in progress now.

Stock Core = 4.9375” Tall x 20” Wide x 4.75” Thick
AMS Core = 5.8125” Tall x 20” Wide x 6” Thick

Stock Face Area = 98.75 in^2
AMS Face Area = 116.25 in^2
AMS has increase of 17.7% in Front Usable face Area over stock

Stock Volume = 469.063 in^3
AMS Volume = 699.5 in ^3
AMS has increase of 49.1% in Volume over Stock

Here are some pics:

The stenciled logo is a no cost option. It is completely up to you.

Edit, dyno chart added:

As promised here is the that dyno chart I talked about.

This a 2007 335i Coupe 6MT.
AR Design Catted Downpipes
Stock Midpipe with stock secondary Cats
Bastuck Exhaust
STOCK TUNE...no piggyback or reflash done
Boost 9.5lbs

As you can see even with NO tuning on a relatively stock car the FMIC makes a huge difference:

We have upgrades we are working with via Forced Performance. Testing is very soon to follow.

A big turbo upgrade is a moot point right now until we can improve the factory fuel system. Otherwise I would have a GT850R on the car already

Just had a customer do an independent test on our core and the gains were very nice:

I installed this intercooler on my 135 last week and I wrote a kinda review/install and I've been monitoring IAT's and they've gone down an average of 17 degrees Celsius. The car feels soooo much better in this Miami hot weather, I really think it's been the most significant mod after the JB, even more so than the downpipes! And AMS was awesome, I paid and literally had the IC like 2 or 3 days later.

I hate bumping but it looks like without it your thread is certainly doomed to page two in mere hours on here. Instead I will try to add some more content by putting up a sweet pic of our shop car

If anyone else has some installed pics of our front mount please feel free to post it up.

Great product AMS! This is going to be my first mod after I get my 135. I live in Corpus Christi, Texas and after owning 2 turbo cars I know how drastically they are affected by heat soak, especially with extra boost and advanced timing. Try to get some turbos out ASAP! Also, do you have any new info on that upgraded HPFP you guys are working on?

It's bar and plate. Any pressure drop numbers for this intercooler? I've been searching but can't find anything
