United BMW - 1ADDICTS....... GET ON THE PRE-ORDER LIST!

United BMW is proud to present the LONG awaited BMW Performance Power Kit! I do NOT have any information on the labor... I was on the phone with a super loyal customer helping him out with something when I ran across this. I do not know labor costs, whether it includes ECU flash or not. My guess (which is probably correct) is that it is definitely an additional cost for ECU flash + parts install. However, who better than yours truly to provide you guys with the parts?

Update: I've gotten some response from BMW about the kits.. there is a difference in price for different ECU's. I've also included the air ducts with the price to make things easier

MSD80 ECU:
BMW MSRP: $2849.95
unitedBMWparts.com: $2250.00

MSD81 ECU
BMW MSRP: $2083.95
unitedBMWparts.com: $1683.16

BTW: If BMW has different kits for different build dates, we will note it here and let everyone know. That's why we want your VIN... to ensure we get the accurate price.

Order it and we'll put you on the pre-order list... NO credit cards will be charged until it's certain they will be released from Germany. ALL parts are on back order...

How about I throw some FREE shipping in there for you? (lower 48 states only)

Quote:
The BMW Performance power kit for the BMW 335i and BMW 135i further enhances your vehicles, already impressive engine output. The key to its effectiveness is the way that all the components have been designed to work together. The modified engine tuning parameters mean the engine generates higher temperatures, and so an additional radiator and air intakes, and a powerful 850-watt fan have been incorporated to deal with this extra heat. The effect that these modifications have can be seen in the graph. The maximum torque of the in-line six-cylinder engine is increased from 400 to as much as 450 Newton-metres, depending on the type of transmission, and power output rises from 225 to 240 kW. This improves acceleration both from 0 to 100 km/h (by 0.2 seconds over models without the power kit) and from 80 to 120 km/h (by 0.5 seconds in fifth gear)
Click to order... PROVIDE the last 7 of your VIN, some cars may be excluded and I will tell you immediately!

Dan, so right now you think the $1500 just buys the extra cooling parts. Those of us with tunes from other vendors could still benefit from the extra cooling parts BMW is supplying in the kit.

The flash (if there is one) wouldn't be included. Just like the alarm, it'd a strong guess that you would buy the parts and have the programming done at the dealer

considering the Dinan oil cooler ALONE is around this same price, this isn't such a bad deal. Consider you'll have warranty for the parts installed, thats pretty cool for the price, relatively speaking.

Those of you with TUNES can probably (I'm taking a shot in the dark here) just install the parts to increase cooling.

BTW, we've got 7 so far.... remember to order the AIR DUCTS when ordering! I should probably just make it apart of the entire kit package huh... lol

I don't know that to be a fact. When I have all the installation instructions, no doubt I'll be posting

All information on ECU will be added later when BMW has answered my question. Izzy, just order on the link above, make sure to add the air ducts. No money will be charged until BMW has released it's final statement for products imported to BMW NA LLC from BMW AG. I will also release instructions and all information as it becomes available

WOW, besides lack of power for what it costs, compared to other tunes costing a lot less with much more power, does it come with KY or Vaseline or do those who purchase have to "take it" dry?

NOTHING AGAINST VENDOR, United is great... It's BMW who is Fukcing Ya!
