United BMW - BMW Performance Steering Wheel
Hello Addicts We're running a special on the BMW Performance wheel until the end of the month, and all orders within the lower 48 States ship free!
yes it's a "toy," but we'd like to run the special anyway We're doing the wheel for $975.00 with free ground shipping (lower 48 states only) through the end of August, and will continue to do so until BMW changes the price! Also, don't hesitate to ask us to price match. As long as we don't lose money, we're more than willing to help out! (I prefer to skip getting reemed from my manager ) BMW MSRP: $1,279.00 + tax + freight unitedBMWparts.com MSRP: $975.00 + 0% tax (except GA, add 6%) + $0.00 in freight Total savings: $324.00 Optional Alcantara trim is available for additional $54.40. I'm sure most of you know about the BMW Performance Wheel (with electronics), but here is BMW's description again anyway. Quote:
Click to order. Parts will ship in 2-3 business days Click to order optional trim. Thanks 1Addicts!

Dan,
Is this something that can be fitted ourself? My local dealer said it couldn't and that it had to have something programmed by them before it would work? Thanks.

I know. That's the only think I wish I had with this wheel. I mean the computer knows this stuff so it's just a matter of the software. Oh well, I still love the wheel and Dan is an awesome vendor.

I had mine installed yesterday (also bought from Dan). It's a nice toy. I have to say the alcantara feels great when gripping the wheel.

I'm not sure if it can display the boost gauge. I know BMW doesn't offer such, but like with any aftermarket part, I'm sure one can be retrofitted. However, when doing this it should be pretty obvious that the warranty on that wheel will go out the window
Also, thanks for the bumps + orders guys
