dyno chart! before/after eisenmann exhaust

Had exhaust installed at HYEVON MOTORS in Westminster, CA. Gave me a great deal and did top quality work.

Ran my first dyno...on dyno dynamics in 3rd Gear. Car was stock first ran 362hp on best run...then with exhaust ran 366.7hp...with stronger gains in torque.

EDIT: ALSO A FEW PEOPLE MENTIONED TO WAIT TO DYNO, CAUSE EXHAUST NEEDS TO BREAK IN AND ECU NEEDS TO ADAPT...SO MIGHT GO DYNO IN A FEW WEEKS....ANY THOUGHTS?

And was it done the same day on the same machine? That's the only way to make it as apples to apples as possible.

Holy Jesus...Autowave's dyno is reading stock M3's at 360+hp?? I knew they always made their dyno read high, but that's just absurd.

Interesting.... IND showed it at about 16hp I believe. I know theirs was on the Race system. I don't think there's too many other independent owners that have compared just OEM to Eisenmann upgrade alone.

I personally never believed that the Eisenmann exhaust yields gains of 16hp, especially on a Mustang dyno, but whatever....

An axle back just isn't going to give you much, if anything, on an otherwise stock car. The stock muffler flows pretty well especially considering how quiet it is.

was the Race....same day...within 2hrs...

also i ran another m3(w/ power chip/ eisen exhaust) at the drag...and i pulled on...so i wondering since i bought my car used if maybe the previous owner had chipped it.
.
how do u know they alter'd theyre dyno?
autowave told me they dyno'd the rd motor...said it ran around 430whp...is that high?

^ Well, if the other guy's m3 had a 6 speed manual, then your DCT will have a slight edge at the dragstrip...

i agree to the above...but im sick off people and companies claiming their exhaust especially axle back give 15-20hp...so i wanted actual proof of what it does do..as i wish other people would do to!!! dont be cheap people DYNO!!! before and after every mod!!

Although I thought it was common knowledge that the Eisenmann does not make much power (no matter how loud it is), thanks for showing us your graphs. The more information that is out there the better!

Dyno shows a very good illustration of the dreaded 'power dip' at around the 6500 RPM mark, shown in both torque and HP curves.

How much does the Eisenmann Race make???
I have seen IND dyno out 15whp and now I see only 6 WHP . so does anyone have a confirmed answer? I did not dyno mine but I feel there is good power being made.

What are the M3's typically Dyno'ing at (whp) in stock form? I'd like to know because I'm going to get a dyno and want to know if my car is inline with average #'s. I know it depends on the dyno as well. The place I'm going to uses a DynoDynamics.

But really the best thing you can do is to ask the place where you're dynoing at if they've done M3s previously and what numbers they put down.

Most M3's on a Dyno Dynamics should make 310-320whp stock. This has been seen at both rpi and Gintani.

I've looked on there but didnt see a lot of non modded cars.. Just curious what the generally assumed average dyno # was for a oem car.

This exact reason is why Eisenmann does not release dyno figures. IND's dyno tests were done as a response to the numerous inquiries from the public, asking for dyno data. Dyno data is rarely a reliable way to predict the efficiency of an exhaust system. I would attribute the low gains seen in this test to a lack of break in- when the system is brand new it will not flow as well as it does once it's broken in. As you do more runs with the exhaust, you will see progressively higher gains as the system is broken in.

i will be goin back to dyno the car again once the exhaust is broken in....also anyone recommend how many miles to wait?

also going to go to the gintani shop and use their dyno..just to see where my car reads on their dyno
