Anyone interested in trading for a 03 M5?
The car is sterling grey with black interior with 56k miles. Tires have about 10k on them, inspection 2 and rear brakes just done. The car has PSS9 coilovers, dinan rear sway bar, dinan front camber plates, V1 wired to onboard LCD display, ipod adaptor, and modified exhaust. I am the second owner(had the car for almost 4 years) and the car is in excellent condition. Mainly looking for a Z4 M coupe or roadster, 996TT, C6 Z but am pretty open to any high hp car that is a coupe, sedan or vert. Of course I'm willing to add some cash if the car is worth more than the M5. More pics are available upon request. You can email any inquiries privately at ovcsearch@gmail.com if you wish. |

Thanks. I'm not really motivated to sell the car, I'm mainly looking for something different to drive. I figure I would avoid paying taxes if I just did a trade(dumb cali used car tax laws). I'm open to selling it but the offer would have to be pretty sweet.

Not really a loophole. You would basically gift the car to each other. If the DMV ever asks you to value the car that was gifted the buyer and seller can set whatever value they feel which is reasonable. The buyer and seller can throw in some cash to make the deal more even if need be. Never done it before but I don't see any problems with it. I would consult your accountant before anything is done to make sure everything makes sense. If anyone else has other suggestions or ideas I'm open to them.
