Are the vents working vents? Also, is there any drainage for water that would gather in that front scoop?

The vents are 100% functional and positioned on the hood to allow heat to escape. The way we designed this hood was based off of the 335 hood. A customer sent us photos of his stock hood after driving it in the snow. Where was the snow melting? Across the center and sides...right where the vents are placed
