IPOD thru my Tape Deck in '06 X5 - Cheap!!!
Who knew my cassette player in my '06 X5 would become so valuable! So, I bought a certified used X5 4.4 and love everything about it, but the lack of CD changer and a cassette player got me a bit perplexed.
BMW charges $185 for a iPOD converter with another $250 for labor - simply put a highway robbery. So, went to a rim shop, and they said they would install "parts" so I can play my iTOUCH, both music and video for $1,500!!! Today, I went to an Apple store and this clerk hands me a $19.95 priced cassette shaped insert with a headphone jack along with a charger for another $25.00. And, VOILA my iTOUCH goes right through the car audio system!!! So,  |
