HPFP/Bad Fuel Question

Have a 08 135i. Had HPFP replaced on 7800 miles on June 17 09. Currently the 1 has 9700 miles. Yesterday I had long crank times twice out of five starts throughout the day. I had a low fuel level yesterday 50Mls or less when starting and the fuel was not from BP or Shell where I usually go. Yesterday I filled up at Shell with Vpower and today it started okay.

My question is....was this just variance that this happened/Bad Fuel-low level of fuel or can the HPFP go out after just 2K miles?

I am traveling to Virginia from Chicago in the 1 this week and I am concerned.
