Just Ordered

Well we Just ordered up a 2009 128i from Halifax BMW the other day. We wanted Montego Blue with Savanna Beige/Boston Leather interior. There was nothing around so it is coming direct from Germany and we should have it mid August. We are slightly excited!

Congratulations. You're lucky living in Halifax since that's where they unload all the Canadian cars so you should get it a bit quicker than I did in Vancouver.

Dugie, I just order my 1st bimmer (Montego Blue 128i) yesterday. My SA in Toronto was looking through the inventory and obviously there is not one in stock anywhere. Funny enough, He found one that is in production from Halifax but later found that one was sold. I believe this could be yours

Anyway, I didn’t make the cut for July production, so I need to wait until end of Sept for mine.

Hey Blue1ers, I guess this means you'll be getting a 2010 or will it still be a 2009? Did you qualify for any kind of discounts or factory incentives or did you lose out on those because you missed the July cutoff?

Hey thanks everyone for the shout out's! We are getting excited, as I said to sawbones, never once have I wished my summer away but mid to end of August simply can't come soon enough! We have already discussed a little road trip possibly down through the New England States with the new whip!

UPDATE:::

I just spoke with my salesperson and she informs me that our car is now on a ship, she could not give me anymore details then that other than it would be here in roughly two weeks or so. I just did some research and I am 99% sure our car is on the FEDORA which is currently sitting in Bremerhaven, Germany and Scheduled for a stop in Halifax on August 19th.

Hi Dugie, I too am waiting for my 128, ordered end of June from Moncton BMW, I see there is a ship called Sierra Nevada Highway due into Halifax this Sunday the 16th. Maybe that is our ship.

Camrest, the ship arrived in Halifax Yesterday and our 128i is currently sitting at Halifax BMW waiting for us to pick it up. Your's should be along very shortly!

Well I haven't posted any pics basically because I haven't had any time, I haven't even had any time to take any real pics, been to buys driving the damn thing. Simply amazing! What a car!
