2007 550i or 2008 528i CPO
I looked around and seems like the prices of the 2007 550i seems quite close to that of a 2008 528i.
I know that the 2008 has a slight redesign but the differences appear to be subtle. Another advantage of the 2008 is that in general it will have more warranty left. How much can I expect to offer for a 2007 550i and 2008 528i, both CPO, around 15 to 20k miles? In general, the asking price ranges from $38k to $43k. In general, the 550i tends be equipped with more options. I am opting out of the 535i since long term reliabilty is questionable. 2008 550i seems to be out of my budget. Which car should I consider, 2007 550i or 2008 528i? Of course the 550i has much more power, but this will be a family car and I have a R35 GT-R already. Also, the fuel economy for the 550i does not seem to be a lot worse than that of the 528i so that is a bonus. Thanks.

how about a 2008 535i? best of both worlds: performance, gas mileage, and price.....not to mention upgrading the performance on a 535i is less expensive with bigger gains on the N54 engine than the NA V8 550i.
If you get the 528i, you will be missing the power of the 550i/V8..that is why I think you should meet in the middle and get a 535i....GL
