Happy with your springs?
Who is happy with their springs in terms of driving characteristics and performance? Any springs except Dinan.
Feel free to post in-depth reviews/raves/rants!

I vote for Happy on the Eibachs. They are good, the look is awesome. The ride is just slightly stiffer if at all than OEM. I bet there is zero improvement in performance than OEM and wouldn't be surprised if lap times were equal or even less the OEM. But I don't track my car so for the street I'm very happy with them. They definitely show a nice drop without being too low and causing any drivability issues.

H&R- no body roll on tight corners, marginal increase in ride stiffness, plus the drop looks great.

I voted "Happy"
AC Schnitzer springs: Pros: 1. Nice drop 2. Feels tighter around curves 3. Not much stiffer than stock Cons: 1. uncomfortable going over speed bumps 2. price tag for being AC Schnitzer

Well, I guess I'm in the unhappy camp, since I went back to the stock springs. The H&R's looked amazing, but I'm faster on the stock springs.

Interesting, I would have though that with your M being a bit lower, stiffer springs & spacers that the CG would be lower and there for corner harder resulting in a little better track times. I haven't tracked it yet, nor am I a pro-race driver as much as I'd like to be but I find this interesting. Can you explain more why or how it's making a difference compared to OEM??

From my experience, with the H&R's, the handling suffers greatly compared to stock in "comfort" mode. In normal mode, on smooth roads I'd say it feels improved due to less body roll, but once you hit a bump stock feels much more secure. Normal mode only feels good when you are on the turns (when the EDC is stiffening up), when you are just driving straight you can tell the rebound is slightly off. In sport mode, the H&R's feel pretty good, I can't really tell if the rebound is 100% right, it probably isn't but I can tell you it feels much better. The only bad part, is that you lose the dynamics of EDC when you go in sport mode which makes EDC so great. Plus in sport mode, I feel it's way too bumpy on LA freeways. For the money, you get great looks and a sportier "feel." But if you're anal or can tell small differences then you can see the softer the shocks go, the more out of tune the suspension really is compared to the H&R's. I still wonder why no one has made an aftermarket shock that can match RDSport/H&R's spring rates while making the shock shorter to compensate & work with EDC. I'll be waiting for about a year, if nothing is out by then, then KWv3's is what I'm getting.
